Privacy Notice

Who this covers

This notice applies to contributors, partners and staff who use the POVLabs Contributor Hub and the POVLabs data labeling platform. POVLabs is the controller of the data described here.

What we collect

• - **Account and profile.** Name, email, country, timezone, language, and the profile details you choose to add such as your LinkedIn URL, availability and skills.
• **Eligibility and identity.** The outcome of an identity check — status, reference and timestamps — where a project requires one. We do not store your identity documents; they stay with the verification provider.
• **Agreements.** The agreements you sign, when you signed them, the name you signed with, and hashed technical evidence of the acceptance.
• **Work and quality.** Session metadata, submission and review outcomes, training progress and quiz results.
• **Earnings.** Amounts earned, bonuses, payout status and the identifiers your payout provider needs. POVLabs does not hold your bank credentials.
• **Technical.** Sign-in events and the basic request metadata needed to keep an account secure.

Recording media created in Minute stays in Minute. The Hub reads reported activity from it and does not copy your recordings.

Why we use it

• - To decide whether you are eligible for a project and to run onboarding.
• To assign work, review quality, and calculate what you are owed.
• To pay you and to keep the financial and tax records the law requires.
• To keep accounts secure and to detect abuse.
• To contact you about work, payments and changes to these terms.

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

Who it is shared with

• - **Clients** commissioning a project receive the work product and the quality metadata attached to it — not your contact details, unless a project agreement you accepted says otherwise.
• **Processors** who run parts of the service for us: identity verification, payments, email delivery, error monitoring and hosting. Each is bound by contract to use the data only for that purpose.
• **Authorities**, where we are legally required to disclose.

How long we keep it

Account, agreement and work records are kept while your account is active. Financial, tax and audit records are kept for as long as the law requires after your last payment, typically seven years. Everything else is deleted or anonymised when you close your account.

Your choices

You can view and correct most of your data in Settings at any time. You can also ask us to export it, restrict how it is used, or delete your account. Requests that would break a legal retention duty — a completed payout, for example — are refused in that part only, and we tell you which part.

Changes

If this notice changes materially we will tell you before the change takes effect, and ask you to read it again where consent is the basis we rely on.
